I haven't been able to manage Nora's 8 hours, but I have taken a leaf from Trish. Write a little, read a little, write a little, watch and hour of TV,write a little, etc. etc. It ain't easy, is it? Geez, whose idea was it to become a writer anyway?Annie Solomonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18439330900730765487noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3404696372103409860.post-78105177340182770462009-10-11T08:15:57.048-05:002009-10-11T08:15:57.048-05:00OMG! Those are my only choices? *BG*

I used to pretend I wrote 4-5 hours a day--well, I did--but as I've grown accustomed to the daytime tv selections, I find myself writing less and less.

Currently I'm working on edits for a new editor and a new publisher. Head-banging-on-desk edits I must add. I can't seem to spend more than an hour and a half at a time without going insane with frustration.

And no, I'm not working on my wip either. I'm sort of at a deadend on it and haven't plotted myself out of the black hole, so I'm hoping when I finish these edits, I can go back to the wip and have a fresh perspective.

I'd be a Nora if I ever get my mojo back, but frankly sitting in a chair isn't all the comfortable anymore. The recliner is more my speed and with my minilaptop, it's the perfect place to write. Editing on the mini doesn't work though. I do have to sit butt in chair for that.Marie-Nicole Ryanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06704351418597214594noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3404696372103409860.post-58984518250782097152009-10-06T12:27:53.318-05:002009-10-06T12:27:53.318-05:00LOL! I totally cracked up at the WWTD. Well, it...LOL! I totally cracked up at the WWTD. Well, it's very high praise to even be mentioned in the same blog post as Nora. Thanks, Annie. Though Nora gets a lot more done than me writing-wise because she doesn't scatter herself all over creation like I do. Maybe I'll do less as my career builds, but right now I'm so new that I feel I need to be visible. Plus, I really like getting out and meeting people -- whether online, at conferences or at signings.

And cool on the three new proposals. Can't wait to hear about them.Trish Milburnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08812010789617982102noreply@blogger.com
